Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions that I have received over the last 20 years. If you have more please feel free to contact me. I am happy to help you make an informed decision about hiring me.

How much space do you need?

For a birthday party, not much at all. For my equipment and props I need about a 3' by 6' area. Usually, your living room is a perfect place for this. Other than that, a space right in front of my performing area for the children to sit (the children can sit on the floor) and enjoy the show is all that is needed.

Do you need a table?

No, I bring my own equipment for every event.

Can you perform the show outdoors?

I typically do not recommend performing outdoors. The weather is too unpredictable and it is much harder to keep the children’s attention when outside. If you require an outdoor performance, please be sure to let me know in advance.

Can we serve the kids food, snacks, and beverages during your show?

I recommend serving treats and drinks before or after the show. My show is based on audience interaction and participation...I need their hands to be free. If you really want to serve treats during the show I recommend sticking with dry foods (popcorn, pretzels, etc.).

How much do you cost???

I offer three different entertainment packages for birthday parties. Prices vary and are adjusted based on your individual needs.

Do you require a deposit?

There is a $50 deposit required to hold a date. I accept cash, checks, PayPal, and all major credit cards for the deposit. Final payment at the event can be made in cash or check.

Is the show clean and age appropriate?

Yes! I take pride in that my show is specifically geared towards children ages 4-8. Many magicians have a show "for all ages", however, I specialize in entertaining children. Of course adults always get a good chuckle out of my antics.

When's a good time to have you begin your show?

A good general rule of thumb is to have my show begin 15-30 minutes after the party begins. This prevents distractions from late arriving guests. Depending on which package you go with, the entertainment lasts anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.

I'm celebrating more than one child's birthday, can you still entertain at our party?

Yes! I then have all of the b-day children be the stars of the show. Everything else is the same except we have a few more lucky participants!

Can we hire you to entertain our children in one room while all of the adults hang out in another room?

NO! Due to liability issues, I do require that all of the children be supervised at all times by at least one responsible adult (besides me). I will not be held responsible for supervising them. This is to protect you, the children, and myself.

Can we invite young infants and babies to the party?

Every child is different. It is up to you to decided if they will enjoy the show. I welcome the entire family to relax and be entertained. However, please keep your pets in a separate area.
